Slit Scan Camera

地下鉄のプラットフォームで電車を待つ群衆の画像を公開したAdam Magyar氏の映像。

 このカメラ、スローモーションだとかハイスピード撮影と言った解説もされているが、実際は競馬などの着順判定でおなじみのスリットカメラと同じようなもの。（上記の動画の中で説明されている）

実際のカメラの制作記事があった。

驚くべきは、このコントロールにiPhoneが使用されているとのことだ。

Magyar had to build a portable setup that would allow him to stream the “huge quantity of data” the camera collected during capture. It wasn’t realistic to use a computer in the subway, so Magyar wrote an iPhone application that allowed him to control the camera system and data stream.
